50% Long trips, mostly freeway. ICE steady 2000 RPM. Motor as needed for hills and passing. ICE rarely above 3000 rpm.
Motor same as transmission?
2) Transmission 1x same
3) Brakes 10x longer
Kinetic energy =square of speed
Assume regen down to 10 mph, 30mph to 10mph = 90% wear reduction. 60mph to 10mph = 97% wear reduction.
