Outdoor Mirror Issue

My mirrors are working opposite of what they should be - when I start the car they fold and when I shut it off they open. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Thank you, in advance.

I was afraid of that - hoping they won't try to charge me. Thank you

What position is the mirror control switch in? Try setting it to “Auto” (the center position) as shown here:
Kia Niro : Folding the outside rearview mirror : Outside rearview mirror

@ThomasDK , Good point, but it's not the position button that cause this problem. I have just tried it in my car, and it cannot do the opposite of what they should be doing! (foldin in when unlocking the door)

@Jessica Giglio Stary , the mirrors should fold in, when you lock the car, not when you Stop the system with the stop button!
