Post Important Security Update

Hello all,

We are reaching out to let our communities know that we have implemented SSL and HTTPS security layers today.

My connection is still over HTTP, are you forcing HTTPS for all connections yet? Or did you just enable the new protocol?

As of 07:48PDST, this site is still UNSECURED..... when the browser indicates "https://www." then we can conclude site security. Personally I am concerned, and frustrated that any browser I currently use indicates to me, and reacts, as if there is NO site security.
Lets get this problem fixed!

Ok, just tested, and I can actually use HTTPS to access the site, that's good. But you guys are still allowing HTTP, and not forcing it to redirect to HTTPS.

A long needed change. Thank you.

As pointed out above, it's not forced yet. It wasn't secure until I manually added the https:// part.

Maybe you could redirect the nonsecure url to the secure url so it is effectively automatic.

This needs to be forced, what good is site security, if you don't make it automatic!!
