Missoula Hi there:

Congrats on your new Niro and thanks for sharing on the Niro forum.
I live in Seattle also and hope to be shopping for a Niro soon. I would appreciate it if you would share the dealers you talked to and ranked them in order of who you thought was best to worse.

Sorry, just saw this. I contacted every Kia dealer in the area without going down to Tacoma. I think there are four. After 24 hours of bouncing prices off one another, it was Lee Johnson v. CarPros Kia Renton. I was very crunched for time as I had to drive back to Missoula so I went with who had the best offer that morning, which ended up being Lee Johnson. Later that day, after I bought the car, Renton matched their price and threw in free oil changes for life but alas it was too late. (That's also not very useful for me, being 450 miles to the east, but it may be something to keep in mind while negotiating.) I'd put those two dealers at the top of the list, in terms of bargainability. The other two weren't really able to drop much off the MSRP.

Missoula: I aplogize for so many questions. I tried to PM you, but don't yet have the required 15 posts needed to do so.

The Chuck Olsen dealership is quite close to me. Did you try to work with them? If so, what was your impression?

Who was sales at Olsen and Johnson dealerships. Did you deal with "internet sales" person only or a regular floor sales person

Thanks

2018 EX PHEV with 7,200 miles that looked brand new. Previous owner tinted rear windows and added those OEM Niro floor mats (rubber kind) for $23,000. Sold our other PHEV and put all of that money towards car to bring price to $5,000 that I covered with cash.

I thought the CA rebate was only $1500?

Good evening,

Almost ready to buy a Niro Hybrid EX with Technology package (NOT plug in, just battery and gasoline) in the greater Houston, TX area.

I have been getting quotes similar to this:

Cash
MSRP: $29,740
Discounts: $2,358
Your Price: $27,382+TTL
Your Out the Door Price: $29,544.

Financing with Kia (you can pay off after 3 payments):

MSRP: $29,740
Discounts: $2,358
Rebate: $1,750
Your Price: $25,632+TTL
Your Out the Door Price: $27,684

The Tax/Title/License is about 6.5% in Houston.

I am being told that Kia financing is offering a 'KMF Dealer Choice Bonus Cash Program (506) which offers a rebate of $1750'

Does anyone have additional information or experience with this program?

For example, how much is the minimum I need to finance, one dealer told me its $7,500, but has nothing to show on paper.

Also, how soon can it be paid off, I do not really want to finance, but am considering it because of the rebate and want to pay it off asap.

I have asked the dealers about it, and they don't have anything to show, but insist that it can be paid off within 1 month (some dealers say this) or 3 months.

If you do have any additional information, please do feel free to share.

Thank you
