New car owner and need information as to storing the Niro for at least 8 months over a Minnesota winter. It will be indoors but not in a heated facility.

Being a fellow Minnesotan I take issue with your implied 8 months of winter. ;-)

Park and forget it! The 12V battery will be drained so you will have to hit the reset button. Works great. Consider lifting the car off the wheels to avoid tire damage. Alternatively use Kia's shipping method of inflating the tires to over 50 psi for shipping. No need to worry about the gas.
