Hybrid with attitude

A little over a year and 30k miles in and loving my Niro. A few rally style upgrades this month. Blizzaks on those cool black 5 spokes beneath the hubcaps and mini lightbar. Winter is coming.

I was thinking about putting a light bar on mine, and you just convinced me.

I found one a while ago for about $140 which has a wireless remote. It works as a flood our distance.

This one came with the mounting bar, 20" light and harness for 52 bucks off Amazon. A mechanic friend with a lot of installation experience had it in in about 2 hours looking professionally tucked away. We still have a little tweaking to do setting up the right combination adjusting the light for illumination and not blinding others vs switched or high beam activation to preference and safety standards, but they really light up the backroads I live on. The more aggressive tires/wheels and lights definitely tip the Niro more towards the SUV side of the crossover spectrum.

Welcome to the forum Lee, dig the rally accessories that I've been seeing across different Niro's. Certainly looks good with some rugged mods.

Once I see how this works out in the snow, mudflaps! Clearly my inner Finn is showing. 😉
