Seems awfully high for a lease.

Oh, and 10000 miles is a deal killer.

Run away.

Totally agree with Griswald!

You should have no trouble finding 15' wheels to fit, but I can't think of any advantages to a 15" wheel so I'm at a loss why you would want to do that -- unless you have spare set of 15 inchers laying around.

Really? What kind of leases people getting ? They were initially at 449 and they then went down to 350/month. $25 is taxes so 375 total.

Niro PHEV does not seem to be a high demand vehicle. I just purchased a 2019 Niro PHEV Ex Premium. Here NW WA there a fair number of nicely equipped EXs that have been sitting on dealer lots for 6 months and longer. May be different elsewhere.

10,000 miles / year is rather low annual mileage, although it may work for this poster.

This is a 2nd car and will be used primarily for winter only / some summer. Also in that site, the ex lease says $392/mo and that’s before taxes I believe.

I was legitimately leaving so I think they came at me with their best price at that point. Also I can def ask if they can up the mileage I guess just in case and see what that does to the payment.

That link is for the HEV, not the PHEV. Here's the correct one:
https://www.carsdirect.com/2019/kia/niro-plug-in-hybrid

It shows $428 for the EX Premium with 12,000 miles, and $392 for the EX. Mine was $485 with 15,000 miles for 3 years with $1000 cash down. And I was slightly underwater with my trade-in, otherwise I probably would have been closer to $400.

Yeah, I think they're a little high. But I don't know enough about the various parts of a lease payment to know where they are off at.

Looks like perhaps this is a good deal for Whatever after all. Certainly he is the best, final judge of that.

Depending on your timeline, it may be worth waiting till Nov to see if lease rates may go down with this weeks reduction in the Fed rate. On the other hand if you have found a model with your prefered color and features, you could check on car Guru to see how many similar cars are on the lot in your area. If it is indeed "in short supply" then now may be the time. I do see that they are still shipping new PHEVs in the Seattle area.

Thanks for that insight. They wanted just 1st months payment and that was it. I will ask for higher miles and see what they say

Yes the rate in the lease was high at about 4.5% . And I wasn’t trying to be condescending lol. I do want the experts’ opinions!

I am happy with the car but still iffy on price
