Kia Niro Nov 2021 update _not_ available

Many thanks for the heads up. I went through the whole process again today, on a different computer (just to double-check), and the updater again displayed: "Updates Temporarily Unavailable."

By the way, a Kia "service rep" just told me over the telephone at +1-800-333-4KIA that the files are no longer available for free and gave me a different web address to go and purchase. Incredible: he got zero credibility from me. I'll make a separate post about that.

UPDATE: FIXED.

I kept checking every few days. Last night the Navigation Updater proceeded to the download, as opposed to displaying the "Unavailable" screen as it had previously done.

According to the installer, maps, modem and a few other things got updated. The software version went from

DEPEHEV.USA.55W_M.V006.001.210524

to

DEPEHEV.USA.55W_M.V007.001.211127

Kia's poor communication (or rather, complete lack of communication) and general gaslighting (now there is an update, now there isn't, now there is) reflects extremely poorly on the management of the brand.
