I took the Niro in for its first service, curious about what they would do. I should have been more curious about the cost. I left the car for a few hours, paid a surprisingly high $450 fee, and tried to find out what they did. No one seemed to know, till I cornered a service advisor. I took a quick shot of a chart with charges. There was another form of what they did with words that were made up which I wish I could show you. I now realize that electric cars have fewer parts and there isn't much to do, so the company and/or the dealership put together 30 minutes worth of work. A mechanic later said that the service was totally unnecessary.
