Air flap system broke- 4th time!

2020 Niro ‘ Active air flap system’ issues started soon after the car was purchased, brand new. I’m on the fifth time at the dealer. Lots of time wasted driving to, and sitting at the dealer/mechanic.
They gave me a rental, a special mechanic flown in, broke again.
I am sitting here on hour five with no word on what they’re finding.
I keep hearing that nobody’s heard of this. Yet I see it listed here.

Is the air flap actually not working or just keep throwing a warning on the dash?
I had trouble with my 2020 within a year of purchase and there was a software upgrade that solved the problem.

My understanding, which is admittedly limited, is that the last time they worked on it, the fourth time, they did the soft wear upgrade by bringing in a tech from the mainland.
