Greetings all!
I have spent a surprising amount of time on this forum already, without even owning a Niro.
That is, until about 2 weeks ago. So far my wife and I have been super happy with our new vehicle. Our last car was a 2008 Kia spectra, and she was super reliable. Traded her in with 185k on the clock, still no issues and running just fine. In fact, the fuel economy(along with the styling) is what drew me to this car(Niro) when I first saw it at the New York auto show.
I had been "hypermiling" our spectra, trying to squeeze every last drop out of it, and was averaging about 40MPG with it, which is pretty impressive for sure, considering an EPA estimate of 32 highway.
Really excited to put this car through its paces, learn all the quirks, and hopefully own it for a long time as well.
This forum has helped a lot when deciding whether or not to pursue getting a Niro. Thank you to all of you who regularly contribute to the content, and making this forum a pleasant place to visit when trying to get new information on this impressive vehicle.
Mike
