While Toyota might be falling back in the CUV segment I heard they have plans to release something new called the C-HR. Once that comes to market it will be quite interesting to see what it does to the various CUV and SUV markets, could take some people away from the Niro.

I wouldn't doubt it at all. The C-HR does look exceptional as well, quite possibly even a Rav4 replacement, and we've seen how well that performed in the market for so many years

Not only looks but Toyota has done well with configuring cars to be diverse in who it targets which might help them scoop up more of the demand than Kia can with its Niro. Competition is good.

Well looks meant as an observant term of course. But Toyota has definitely always been diverse which is great. The main thing is, from my perspective at least, is that they carry that reputation of always being the most reliable, or longest lasting vehicles, etc. They've developed a huge trust within the consumers for the industry.
