Is this what happens when the fob battery is dying?

if it's relevant, I just picked up my car 2 days ago from dealer after it was sitting there parked for a week. The fobs were OK before but maybe they're dying now?, When I try to lock or unlock car the fob lights up but the car doesn't lock or unlock until the 10th try maybe. My cars hybrid battery returned to same level as usual so

The fob then becomes more reliable to unlock and lock after the first successful one

What kind of battery do they take

There was a thread recently where a number of us with 2018 Niros had dead fob batteries. It seems that they last about 4 years. The battery is CR2032.

Sounds like a fob battery issue to me. C'mon back here after you replace them and let us know for sure!
