Been driving my Niro since last August. Cappuccino brown Touring model. Just passed 30000km with only two issues and about $2200 savings in gas over my old 2014 Soul's milage.

Only two issues is a whine in the steering wheel they are fixing this week and one of the displays in the cluster shut off for awhile one day. Turning the car completely off and on reset that one. When in doubt...reboot!

Love the car and came on here to get winter tire and rim info.

Hey Dave from Toronto,

Danforth and Coxwell here. I've got X-Ice on OEM steelies. Work great in the winter. Wherever you go, make sure they toss in a set of lug nuts... those stock ones turn a not so nice rusty colour in their first winter.

Likely that was the multimedia display that cut out. Mine has done so maybe four times in 20,000 miles so annoying, but not that annoying. If the problem returns frequently and you need to use the touch screen, you can reset it while driving without turning the car off. The button (hard to see) is at 5 o'clock on the side of the volume knob. You need a pen or paperclip in the car to trigger it.

@ootpek, Welcome to the forum!

For your displays in the cluster that shut off by it self, are you talking about this one ? (see picture) if so, it's a known problem for some users and cannot get reseted with a paperclip.!?

Yeah that's the one. The gas gauge in the driver cluster. It came back after I stopped to fill the tank ironically.
