Are the cabin air filters in NIRO PHEVs true HEPA air filters (0.3 microns)? if not, does anyone know a compatible true HEPA air filter?

I want to change it to a Bosh Anti-bacterial and against foul-smell - it is PM2 and I don`t think they make them any more dense as the whole car would be fogged up - don`t confuse Hepa from the hoover with cabin filter - will measure it soon and let you know exact size. If you want HEPA buy a Tesla I guess cheers

I wonder if a HEPA filter would decrease airflow, increase the work that the fan motor has to do and lead to premature fan motor failure.

I know home HVAC installers and manufacturers do NOT recommend HVAC filters be used in place of normal low resistance filters.

I used to put this HEPA filter in my Mazda 3 and it didn't seem to reduce airflow. The fan survived many months until the car was finally totaled in an accident.

Let us know if you find one compatible! I am unable to locate one on Amazon atm or anyplace - or maybe we need to wait few months
