(great white north)

I don't own a niro but after my typically ocd research I expect that I will very soon.
Local Kia dealership actually requested an EX somewhat on my request as well as numerous other 'interested' phone calls from prospective buyers. They actually sent me a 'currently at sea' confirmation of the unit they will be getting. They expect that it will be at our location on April 20. If all goes well I expect to finalize a deal the day it does arrive.
I had narrowed my search to an Ioniq or a Niro but the CUV form factor is more suitable to my needs.

That said I have read many of the threads with growing interest. The only possible fly in the ointment might have been the 'dead battery' issue that was addressed on the Ioniq forum and mentioned on this one. That issue seems to have been resolved. With the same powertrain, I would expect that any of the issues of one would also affect the other.

I hope that this forum blossoms as more and more of these cars become available!

In the not too distant future you might get lucky as the next step for Hyundai should be to launch a green SUV and I mean desgined to be green from the ground up. Aside from the segment the Ioniq is in, an SUV segment right above it is the next best move for them.
