Bought a brand new Kia E Niro and there were a few issues. I told the dealer to repair/replace the below.
Quite a lot of damage for a brand new car.
  • Wheels need polishing, water marks won’t go away.
  • Scratch on left rear light
  • Bubble on rear drivers seat
  • Small scratch on the inside roof
  • Reg plate off by: left 4.3. Right 4.8
  • Multi function right side scratched
  • Hole in drivers leather seat (Replace)
  • Scuff on paint.
  • Rear seats not aligned
  • Haze marks/scratches on the piano plastic
  • When the fuse board was opened by the passenger side, they used a screw driver and marked the side of the dash.
  • Few haze marked on the body work that I’m not polishing out.
  • Rear camera has erosion on it, including scratches (Replace)
  • Drivers rear light has a scratch but I’m sure it can be polished out on it and chip on the black pillar + water came into the light. The passenger is minor.
  • Middle of dash scratch where the heat button are
  • Rear booth plastic window frame and right side bottom is scratched.
  • Drivers scuff plate
  • Paint defect on drivers inner door (under paint)

Wow. And I thought US dealers did a poor job with pre-delivery preparation. The reg plate is often something installed by the dealer, and it's usually a kid with a power screwdriver and not a lot of common sense and no training at all in what they're supposed to do.

Ha yeah you are probably right. I can get over the reg plate. You have any issues with you car. How are you finding it?

Can't say that I have. I've had it for 22 months and 18,000 miles now, and all it's needed has been the scheduled oil changes. Even now it looks close to showroom condition.

WOW. You have more patience than me. I would have refused the car period.

I would have walked away from that one. I guess I got lucky I bought my new Niro online and had it shipped to me and it came perfect.
