Last Fill-up was 08-05-21 at 43,375 miles (day we left on a trip that was mostly HWY miles).

Fill-Up 08-09-21 after HWY trip at 44,110 miles for 395 miles and 7.313 gallon for 54 MPG.

BTW, that be about 10% City and rest was HWY, not Interstate. Speeds varied from say 35 MPH (going Newfound Gap, HWY 441 thru Smoky Mtn Park) to 45 to 65 mph thru some towns and on some better HWYs).

Note MPG not much different on this HWY trip than my average lately.

Some over my Running Average of 50.6 MPG (Per Fuelly AVE). Total trip was 405 miles but Fill Ups only 395 miles.

This trip was was primarily Hwy Miles as descried.

I had to use a little gas for the first time in several weeks today. Drove a total of 50 miles with only a 40 minute hookup at a charger at one stop. I'm over 1700 miles on this tank with it still 3/4 full. PHEV is a really neat way to go if you can charge at home. :)

I went 5 months and 3,500 km's on one tank. But during the summer I do a lot of 250 km trips that are obviously well outside the EV range of the PHEV.

Two fill-ups close together (this post and next post) due to a trip that was basically 452 miles RT of mostly Interstate.

Fill-Up 10-07-21 at 45,384 miles for 279 miles and 4.11 gallon for 67.88 MPG at $3.099 per gallon (WEIGEL's after about 35 miles into the trip so would not have to buy gas until we got back home).

67.88 MPG has to be an error of some sort as never ever had anything above low 50s MPG in 45,000 miles. I don't know what happened - have the mileage wrote down and have receipt showing 4.11 gallons. Don't remember adding fuel in between and not writing it down (would not have added any fuel as still had plenty miles left on the tank when started the trip - I only stopped to fill up to get better idea of total MPG for the rest of the trip as it would be mostly Interstate at 70 to 74 mph. BY THE WAY, next fill up showed 481 miles and 9.81 gallon for 49MPG (See Next POST).

This period came out 67.88 MPG (big ???) was typical mostly county roads at 35 to 55MPH and some town / city with some traffic and stops.

Two fill-ups close together (this post and last post) due to a trip that was basically 452 miles RT of mostly Interstate. The last MPG does not make sense (67.88 MPG is ridiculous).

This Fill-Up 10-12-21 at 45,865 miles for 481 miles and 9.81 gallon for 49MPG at $2.859 per gallon (SAM's Club after 481 miles and about 60 miles of that being City/Town and rest at mostly 70 +/- MPH).

49 MPG makes sense considering speeds mostly 70MPH +/_ for 420 miles of the 481 miles and my overall average for this car is slightly over 50MPG.
