The Kia Navigation on my 2023 Niro HEV has been acting completely messed up for a couple of months now. I can't trust it and now have to use Android Auto (yes, I know it's better). I checked and have the latest update. It seems to me it may be the GPS. I drive from Escondido to Los Angeles at least once a month and that's when I notice it most. Initially it would give me the correct route, but estimate the arrival time like 4.5 hours even though the roads were normal (more like a 2 hour drive). Then I noticed it became hyperactive in changing routes as I went along, I assume because the time was quicker. But it seemed like it kept changing it every 5 minutes and the routes were often well off the beaten path. The final straw was it began to try to route me to and from home via I15 no matter where I was. Where I normally go in LA is almost always most efficient via I5/405. It takes a major backup to make I15 faster (I15 would add 30 miles).
Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas? Has anyone heard of any GPS issues?
