got to love those rear end shots, it really stands out, even from a distance in some of those shots. Out on the street within the first year of its release it's really going to stand out from the crowd, more than a lot of other vehicles in its segment. Should surprise at a lot of people to the fact its a Kia!

I love every shot and the video has made me realized how much the hood lines makes the headlights look like eyes. And the color stands out too. When it comes out, the Niro will probably have a a few special colors to choose from.

Also, not sure if anyone noticed but when you switch to eco mode, the infotainment screen shows you a tree and the fuel economy above it. That's pretty cool.

Yeah that's an important point... it has character and during these times of design its important to stand out and even more so in a unique way which Kia coming from a bad past, is quite impressive. From lame, boring, and even copy cat designs, to this. Now they just need to keep this up throughout the rest of the line up.

Love the looks and I hadn't seen that color before, it's nice. I talked to a dealer the other day and he said he didn't expect the car until next January. I sure hope it shows up sooner than that. Also, I'm glad it doesn't have a CVT but a DCT instead.

With that being the date you got, chances are we'll see these showing up randomly on streets around late Q4 of this year. Long way to go but it will be worth it, no other car maker has anything even as nice coming out.

For me it will not only be commercials that do that but anything informational they put on like a media event, event for potential owners, etc. It's one of the best things they can do for owners in this segment and for themselves of course, a more engaging experience from the start results in more dollars for them.

Noticed this from the promo too. The front wheels are supposed to be powered by the engine but you can see the energy transfer on the infotainment screen when in Eco mode. Looks like the battery powers the front wheels too?
