Just purchased my 2017 Niro Touring yesterday and love it so far.
Still learning what everything does. Really love the 40+ mpg over my 17 mpg Ford F-150, especially when I drive 66 miles round trip 5 days a week.

Welcome Michael. I'm in a similar boat...just bought my Niro on Monday. I drive about 48-50 miles RT for work. We are retiring my wife's old 2000 Camry (which we weren't sure was going to last much longer) while my wife takes my old 2005 Toyota Highlander.

I'm going from ~21-22 MPG (probably on a good day) to a Niro Plug-in Hybrid. It seems I can "just" make a one-way trip on full EV. So, for now, it seems I'm able to make my commute without using a drop of gas!!! LOVING THAT!
