I'm confused about Kia's warranty on the PHEV traction battery (2018 model).
The 2017 Canadian warranty (https://www.kia.ca/content/Owners/warranty/2017_Kia_Warranty_Manual_en.pdf) has an explicit statement that the battery is warrantied for deterioration to less than 70% of new capacity in the the first 8 years or 160,000km.
However this statement is missing from the 2018 American warranty (https://www.kia.com/us/k3/content/m...8_warranty_niro_hybrid_and_plug_in_hybrid.pdf). I see no statement at all about an EV capacity warranty.
Am I missing something, or is Kia US indeed offering no warranty related to loss of battery capacity?
Thanks, Jim
