Hi, I don't have a wall box so I charge with the trickle charger that Kia provided.
Being in Portugal, all wall sockets have standard 230v output.
I'm able to change between the modes and I'm able to charge from 8A to 12A withot any issue to the instalation (although when on 12A the socket becomes a little hot) (I have a 16A circuit breaker and a 25mA ground fault circuit interrupter for safty purpose)
The question is do you have any opinion on what mode should I charge so I save the battery life?
should I chose the lower Amps ? (because fast charging tends to degrade the battery faster)
or is it irrelevant?
btw time is not an issue because the car charges at night andeven with 8A it takes like 4h max from 0 to 100%
