My CEL is on today (car is a week old) - is there a method for getting codes without a scan tool? I'm accustomed to there being a procedure, often difficult to execute, whereby you can get the codes to display one way or another. I have searched and, to my surprise, I haven't found anything for the Niro yet. Does anyone know of a way to get the codes without a scan tool?
Edit: I do have an OBD II adapter of some sort that I have used in the past for monitoring transmission fluid temperature etc., so presumably I can use that. Is there a preferred app for using with the Niro PHEV?
