One consideration in my case is that I have an SX. The Harmon-Kardon subwoofer is mounted in the spare tire well, so a mat would probably muffle the sound somewhat, although low frequency sounds propagate better than high.
I will probably pass, as I still have a 2016 Honda HR-V, which I can use for hauling things like straw, topsoil, manure, etc.
