I noticed that the USB port is always on (even if the engine is turned off) and since I have iPod connected, it really bugs me that I have to remember to unplug every time I leave the car. Otherwise the battery would get drained empty.

What on earth is Kia's logic in this? And is there an easy way to fix this? Could any electrician change it?

Interesting. I don't use the USB because I have the Touring with navigation and satellite radio so I don't use android or apple auto.

Thank you, I never knew this but just checked. The armrest port in my Touring doesn't work when off but the one under the dash does. And I really wanted one that stays on. Why? So I can charge things (way too slowly) without the car being on. Just wish they were more higher powered and that the bay where the wireless pad is was larger as my phone really doesn't fit in the space.
