I’ve looked through the instructions but can’t seem to find anything referring to it. I’ve a new Kia E Nero 4+ that’s U.K. top spec. At night when the cars locked I notice a small white light flashing on the top of the dash near the windscreen. The cars not plugged in and I’m not referring to the three lights that show state of charge when it’s charging. Is this light anything to do with the alarm.

I have a red one in my 2019 Nito EV in Canada. Mine flashes intermittently. I believe it's the uvo updating. Try getting an update in the app for your car and see if it flashes for you.

I have a 2020 HEV and my light is also red.
I assume that light is related to vehicle security

I’ll check both ideas out, it seem strange that it’s not referred to in the manual.

My 2018 HEV has a red light that stays on when the doors are locked. I assume it’s the car alarm indicating that it’s armed/on.

It's the base signal to the Mothership, telling them where to land.
