I paid for Premium Connect support and I still can't get any new Navigation software update either over-the-air or online direct from my phone or PC. My 2023 PHEV just says it is "paused" Where can I get a 2025 navigation update on a memory USB stick to put in my car to update it?

Download the computer application (Windows or Mac) and you can download the update. Don't try to log in, just use the guest access.

Fine in principle, but the April 2025 update is listed as "(Paused)"

Back in July I emailed the Navigation Solution Center and received the following response:

"We want to inform you that due to an ongoing issue, updates for the navigation system are currently unavailable. Our map development team is actively working to resolve the problem, and I should to be [sic] available around late August."

It's new September and it's still down.

Another reason why i tend to rely on cell phone navigation - Apple Maps/Google tends to have more aggressive updates for traffic and even speed traps. the fact it also charges the phone at the same time is a bonus if you use a cable connection. (which i recommend, since then the car's LCD is used to show the map) Note - My Bias is that the smart phone integration is one of the best things to happen to automotive electronics in my lifetime

The built in navigation is much more responsive. It gets input from the car, speed, steering wheel and most likely from the camera.
That is debatable, and could likely be phone-specific. And @ozwyn01 was referring to traffic info, which I would agree is more up to date on a phone app vs. the in-car system.
